Here is a list of the DVDs I can remember and spotted on a quick look through the shelves my spell is not great so bare with me here. All a genuine most are region 1 as the US gets all the good stuff before we do and at the moment it is often cheaper to buy direct from the US. I am a bit of a completist on some stuff so if I don't mention a film or something for a series I may still have it, of course some of the newest stuff has not finished coming out yet so wont be complete.

I've been away from anime for a while now and I'm thinking of buying a few boxsets. What do you suggest?
I'd prefer soming as deep as Trigun and Chobits and is a finite number of episodes and doesn't go on forever like Naruto or Bleach.

Try Noein: to your other self. About 25 quid on Amazon just now. It's a beautiful show with some amazing design and terrific characters.
I'll also second Ergo Proxy and add in Eureka Seven, which imo is the best series to be made this decade. You might find it a bit of a stretch at fifty episodes, but be assured it's well and truly worth it. And best of all, all of these shows have *no* recap episodes or filler!

Not much.. xD
Azumanga daioh volume 1
Fullmetal alchemist (( Both seasons ))
Naruto (( All of it, and a few episodes of Shippuuden ))
and.. That's it D:
